Why You Should Follow Me

You should follow me. Whether you’re a teenager, a college student, an entrepreneur, a writer, a parent, or anyone else, you should be following me. You need to subscribe to my email list and follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and even Pinterest.

Why? Allow me to explain.

If You’re a Teenager

If you’re a fellow teenager, you should be following me because, like me, you’re trying to figure everything out. You’re trying to figure out the world around you as well as determine your own values and beliefs. Fortunately for you, due to my vast wealth of experiences, I can relate and aid you in this process. True Stories are exactly that, true and sometimes humurous stories from my own life that you may be able to glean knowledge, motivation, and even a good laugh from. The Serious features some of my thoughts, opinions, ideas, beliefs, and values, and each post is a quick and easy read that can help you determine what things you should prioritize. A more lighthearted blog, The Random features my (sometimes humorous) random thoughts, opinions, and ideas, giving you more food for thought in a more jovial way. You should subscribe so you’re notified when I post to these blogs, but, more than that, you should also follow me on social media.

While I recommend following me on all my social accounts, you’ll benefit most from following me on: Twitter, where I’ll be posting small bits of advice, quotes, and other quickly consumable content; Snapchat, which will be used similarly but more personably (yet less frequently), in addition to giving you a glimpse of my daily life; and Instagram, where I’ll post more in-depth thoughts and advice, and pictures/news of all facets of my life. You can also contact me on any of my social accounts, and I will respond. I can’t guarantee the timeframe in which I’ll respond, but I will respond.

If You’re a College Student or just moved to NYC

If you’re a fellow college student, you should be following me because I posted about my life as a college freshman student-athlete at The King’s College in NYC (and just so you know, I’m originally from rural Minnesota…big leap) every week during my first semester in 2017 in The New Adult. These posts feature what I’ve learned in my new environment, and advice based on what did and didn’t go well go well. My True Stories blog, in which I tell, you guessed it, true and sometimes humorous stories, may also be useful.

In addition to this, since you’ll be in “the real world” immediately after college, you may benefit from reading The Serious as each post is a quick and easy read featuring some of my thoughts, opinions, ideas, beliefs, and values, many of which you may encounter in the workforce and all of which you can ask me about on social media. Because I will respond to every message sent to me on social media.

Speaking of which, though I recommend following me on all my social accounts, you’ll benefit most from following me on: Twitter, where I’ll be posting small bits of advice, quotes, and other quickly consumable content; Snapchat, which will be used similarly but more personably (yet less frequently), in addition to giving you a glimpse of my daily life; and Instagram, where I’ll post more in-depth thoughts and advice, and pictures/news of all facets of my life.

If You’re an Entrepreneur

If you’re a fellow entrepreneur, you should follow me because you can learn from me. At eight years old, I started an ice cream business that my younger brothers now run. At sixteen I started Statement Apparel. Now, at nineteen, I am working on my personal brand as I continue on the journey that is college in NYC. I have lots of information to share, and you can access that from some of The Serious posts, some True Stories, from my social media posts, and from contacting me directly. I will respond to every message sent to me on social media.

And you should follow me on all of my social media accounts – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and even Pinterest. I’m not going to get into why you should follow me on each account, but you’re an entrepreneur, so you should be able to figure it out. 😉

If You’re a Writer

If you’re a fellow writer, you should follow me because we are on the same journey: we’re both trying to change the world with our words. Like me, you know this can be harder than everything else on this list, and I’m here to help you. I’m here to show my progress on this tough journey, and to give you advice and encouragement as you continue to write. Oh, and for obvious reasons, you’d probably like my Writing series.

Like the entrepreneurs, you should follow me on all of my social media accounts – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and even Pinterest. If you need to contact me, I will respond to every message sent to me on these social accounts.

I also believe you should subscribe to my email list so you get all news, updates, and more. If nothing else, you will get tons of character and story ideas. 😁

If You’re a Parent

If you’re a parent, you should follow me because I’m giving you ways to spend time with your children and further aid in their maturation. How? By giving you posts that you can read and discuss together.

In The Serious alone, I’m giving you quick and easy to read (clean language) blog posts dealing with serious topics in a way that makes them relatable to people of all backgrounds and ages. These posts can serve as a way to start different, more heightened, conversations with your children (especially if they are, or are about to be, teenagers). Combine this with the more light-hearted, yet sometimes thought-provoking, The Random, and you have two blog series that you can discuss with your children after reading them together or separately. My True Stories series, in which I tell, you guessed it, true and sometimes humorous stories, may be a third such series.

More than that, you and your child(ren) can follow me on any or all of my social media accounts – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and even Pinterest. The clean content on each of these accounts can also serve as conversation starters and food for thought, and it is through these mediums that you can message me. And, though I can’t give a precise timeframe in which I will do this, I will respond to every message sent to me on these social accounts.

If You’re Anybody Else

If you don’t fit into any of the previous categories, you should still follow me. Why? Because I’m providing you with clean, quickly consumable, wholesome content. Regardless of profession, age, or background, you can and will glean something from the True StoriesThe Serious, and The Random blog posts should you consume them. For that reason alone, you should subscribe to my email list to, among other things, get notified about new posts.

Similarly, you will benefit from following me on any and all of my social media accounts – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and even Pinterest. The various content posted on each of these pages can also give you food for thought, different ideas, motivation, encouragement, and so much more. Plus, should you decide to reach out to me on social media, I will respond to every message sent to me on my social media accounts.
