My name is J.P. Pressley, and there’s a lot more to me than meets the eye. I’m not just some nineteen-year-old trying to make an impact. I’m a nineteen-year-old who is going to go on to change the world, regardless of fame and fortune. Because I’m a nineteen-year-old who, due to my vast array of experiences (from growing up a black kid in rural Minnesota to having oxygen tubes up my nose), has a different perspective than most everyone else on most everything. Between my asthma (so bad that my family almost moved from MN to CO for the better air quality) and other health issues alone, I’ve faced a lot of challenges that I’ve had to rise above, and my current list of obstacles is hardly any better. Nevertheless, I’m still here, and I’ve got things to say and stories to tell.
